From the first tee to the hot tub

Golf is why most people come between April and October. Outside those months the pool, the hot tubs and the walking trails do most of the work.

The golf course

Eighteen holes, par 72, running along the St. Mary’s River. Each hole carries a Ktunaxa name, and the scorecard gives its meaning. In 2026 the season ran from April 17 to October 12. Dates for 2027 weren’t out when we checked.

The course is cut into hilly ground and some paths between holes are steep. Even the resort suggests a cart unless you want a workout. Carts have GPS yardage. A driving range is free with any paid round.

Dogs on a leash are welcome on tee times after 3 pm, Thursday to Monday. Green fees change with the time of day and the month.

Pool and health club

The health club is attached to the Mission building. The heated outdoor pool is open daily from 8 am to 10 pm and faces the course and the Rockies. Next to it are two hot tubs and a sauna. The steam room was marked temporarily closed in October 2026.

The gym is open around the clock. It’s small: cardio machines, a few weight stations and free weights up to 30 lb. Bring your own lock for the change room lockers.
